My Story…

My post-college five-year-plan concluded with me

STARRING in my own sit-com.

[Insert Canned Laughter

If you’ve been doing this more than five minutes, you know that is funny.

After 11 years pounding the pavement:

  • I’d shouted “Jesse!?” in everybody’s favorite Geico spot.

  • I’d created, produced & starred in an award-winning play.

  • I’d met my husband playing his trophy wife in an improv scene. (Typecasting…)

But…

  • I’d spent a down payment’s worth on headshots.

  • I’d tried to get the stamp of approval from every teacher in town.

  • I had one co-star to my name, no momentum, and a huge inferiority complex.

Despite my wins, I found myself:

  • Exhausted.

  • Confused.

  • Disappointed.

In a word: Heartbroken

I had crashed into the wall of my own expectations.

I couldn’t see all that I had accomplished in the shadow of all “hadn’t.”

I needed to heal.

I needed to know I was safe.

From the inside out.

The process of growth I went through:

  • Released me from the shame of my own expectations

  • Drastically shifted my perspective on the industry & my place in it.

  • Opened the door to great reps, huge bookings, and the joy of loving craft and myself again.

And I know the same can be true for you.

I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.

“Perhaps what I have come to understand, finally, is that somehow I have become the one I have always wanted.

That’s my story. What’s yours? I’m all ears:
